What's with all this excitement about John Abraham's butt baring scene in Dostana? the man says he feels like a meat shop. duh? he thought he was an actor, did he?

and as for the butt peek, a man infinitely better looking, an actor's actor and a heart throb over generations, did it way before Abraham. Johnny boy, go watch Shashi Kapoor in Heat and Dust and while you're at it, take some tips on acting.

someone asked me the other day, if i could eat non-veg khana during durga pooja.

fact is, durga pooja may be about religion, but it is not just about worship. there are no dos and donts, no dictats, few dogmas.

and loads of must haves and some must dos.

must have kobiraji cutlet (a mutton cutlet deep fried in an egg batter which makes it lacy) , moghlai paratha, mutton roll, chingri (prawn) cutlet and mutton chops... and all the rest of the fantastic food that blocks your arteries and hastens a heart attack. and yes, queue up for the amazing khichri bhog...

Watched this really hilarious film last evening about a woman who's possessed by a vengeful ghost. after a Catholic priest's chantings fail to exorcise the ghost, the hero (who maintains his wooden expression when he is happy, sad, amorous or frightened) recites the hanuman chalisa in the possessed woman's ear and wheeee, the ghost pops out of it in a blue luminous cloud and she's fine.

now conspiracy theorists say the film was produced by the Bajrang Dal and that the dental association and the clockmakers association pitched in generously. ...

As an adult, have you ever accompanied any deity for visarjan? Danced on the streets and threw gulal at each other till you looked like a baboon? It's unlikely you did it as a child either.

Nah, it's too in your face for people like us. Too many people, too much controlled chaos, too much to handle.

But yes, we'll watch it on TV, run to the balcony (if it happens to look on to a visrajan route), but never participate. ...

A leading English daily has published what reads like an obituary for Varsha, who, if you are uninformed, is Asha Bhosle's daughter, hospitalised for a 'pill' overdose yesterday.

We spoke to Jaslok hospital this morning and she's doing fine. The unmentioned paper must have thought they'd score brownie points with readers by giving them the 'full story'.

it's more like fool story. ...
